In 2016, we published (open access) an analysis of the Chicken Interferome, based on comparison of transcriptomic data (from two commercial microarrays as well as RNA-seq) of chick embryo fibroblasts treated with type I interferon (IFN), identifying almost 200 IFN-regulated/stimulated genes. Source data are available in public repositories; the paper also includes a comprehensive supplementary spreadsheet and offers a link to a website (ChISG Browser), which includes screenshots of RNA-seq data for each ISG under basal and IFN-induced conditions.
Sonja Härtle’s group has just published (open access) the equivalent in vivo study, based on microarray analysis of type I IFN-stimulated responses in spleen and lung tissue at various times post-treatment.
